Q: What are the benefits of using wax wraps over cling film?
A: BeeGood Wax Wraps are reusable, biodegradable, chemical free & non-toxic.
Using wax wraps help to limit the use of plastic in your home & to reduce plastic pollution globally.
Q: What are the BeeGood Wax Wraps made of?
A: BeeGood Wax Wraps are made from 100% cotton fabric, Australian beeswax, Australian jojoba oil & natural resin.
Q: What does jojoba oil do?
A: Jojoba oil is reported to have antimicrobial and anti fungal/insecticidal properties which is a bonus when you’re using your wraps for food! Jojoba oil is used to give the wax wraps their tacky nature. This also helps to create a seal on a bowl, or to keep it folded tightly when wrapping cheese or a sandwich.
Q: What does rosin do?
A: Rosin makes BeeGood Wax Wraps behave more closely to plastic cling wrap, which is what most people are trying to find a replacement for.
Q: What can wax wraps be used for?
A: As well as covering cheese and other foods for keeping in the fridge, you can use BeeGood Wax Wraps to carry snacks and sandwiches on the go, keep bread on the counter or in the freezer, & wrap vegetable & herbs.
BeeGood Wax Wraps are the bees knees for opening hard to open jars.
Q: Does the beeswax leave a taste on your food?
A: They don't leave any taste on your food.
Q: How do you wash beeswax wraps?
A: To wash BeeGood Wax Wraps simply rinse the wrap with cool water and Eco-friendly dish soap (if necessary). You can use a cloth or sponge to wipe them down, rinse then air dry. Avoid using a microfiber cloth or scourer as this will remove the wax.
Q: Can beeswax wraps go in the microwave?
A: No they cannot go in the microwave, over hot food, in a dishwasher or a washing machine.
Keep your BeeGood Wax Wraps away from any heat source & direct flames.
Q: Can you use wax wraps over raw meat?
A: Definitely NOT.
We advise to not use on raw meat & fish, although you can certainly use them as a bowl cover when marinating meats & fish.
They are ideal to use on cured, smoked & air-dried meats like salami & ham.
Q: How do you store the wax wraps?
A: When dry just lay your BeeGood Wax Wraps flat. If they are continually folded, you will end up with creases that will wear faster than the rest of the wrap. Ideally store them in a draw or on a shelf.
Q: Can you rejuvenate wax wraps?
A: Yes.
We have successfully rejuvenated our BeeGood Wax Wraps especially when creases & lines have occurred by constant use.
The quickest & easiest way is to use a hair dryer.
Clip the wrap onto a coat hanger with clips & heat up the wrap, this will disperse the wax & give your wrap a longer life.
Alternatively on a baking tray lined with foil or baking paper for a few minute, place in a hot oven.
Remove the wrap while still warm, hold & let the wax dry.
You can also hang them in direct sunlight.
Q: How long do they last?
A: BeeGood Wax Wraps can last up to 12 months & more!
After that, the wax and rosin start to wear off and the wrap won’t be as moisture-tight or clingy.
You can tell your wrap is at the end of its life cycle when it no longer seals with the warmth of your hands
Q: What do you do with them when they do not work anymore?
A: Simply cut or tear them into thin strips & add them to your home compost or place them in the garden.
They can also be used as fire starters when out camping.

A: BeeGood Wax Wraps handcraft many different sizes of wraps.
